Frequently Asked Questions

Why did Zoweh make The Rendezvous Project?

We created The Rendezvous Project, a 12-session video series recorded live during The Rendezvous Couples Weekend marriage conference, because we believe that marriage may be the most sacred of all human relationships; two people, coming together as one. There may not be anything more powerful than two people walking with God together. And because of the power and weight of marriage in the Kingdom, it should not come as any surprise that marriage is violently opposed … it’s a favorite target of the enemy. But we also believe that marriage is worth fighting for.

Because of the attack of the enemy, you don't have to look very far to find a marriage that is in trouble. Assaults on marriage and challenges to marriage are everywhere. But we know there is a way for couples to make a comeback, learn how to fight back, enjoy being restored, and actually thrive in the midst of the day-to-day battles of life. Marriage is worth fighting for and having the right weapons and tools, training and orientation is crucial.

Who is The Rendezvous Project for?

The Rendezvous Project was designed for married couples who want to experience deeper intimacy with God and with each other. The journey through the video series can be undertaken together as a couple, as part of a small group, or in a weekend getaway setting.

How many videos are there and how long are they?

There are 13 sessions in total: twelve principle sessions, and one bonus session about Redeeming Sex. The sessions average about 35 minutes in length.

Do you offer bulk pricing for churches and ministries?

If you're interested in leading your church or ministry through The Rendezvous Project, please email support@therendezvousproject.com

What’s the best way to experience The Rendezvous Project?

It’s really up to you. We originally created the project for small groups to meet on a week-to-week basis or take a weekend getaway together, but we have also found that going through all of the sessions one-on-one with your spouse is a great way to connect and reconnect with God and each other. After journeying through it together, many couples have then invited other friends to go through it with them, creating a Redemptive Community (small group) of couples. Others have chosen to experience the comradery of the small group experience from the get go. Other groups may find it convenient to go through in a larger setting, such as with their church or ministry.

Can I give the members of my group access to the videos in advance of our meeting?

Yes. Direct your small group members to therendezvousproject.com/groupaccess, where they can stream all the session videos online at any time with the access code provided in the email you will receive with the subject line: Welcome to The Rendezvous Project!

My small group is meeting virtually. How can I give my group members access to the videos?

Direct your small group members to therendezvousproject.com/groupaccess, where they can stream all the session videos online at any time with the access code provided in the email you will receive with the subject line: Welcome to The Rendezvous Project!

What if my spouse does not want to participate, or we are separated or in the middle of a divorce?

The best thing you can do for your spouse (and yourself) is get your own heart back. The Rendezvous Project, while designed to be experienced as a couple, can be a valuable tool for anyone who finds themself in a place where their spouse is unwilling or unable to join them. It will help you see God’s heart for you, God’s heart for your spouse, and the beauty of how God designed marriage to be. However, if this is where you find yourself, we encourage you not to do it alone. We invite you to contact us or seek a good Christian counselor.

My spouse and I are participating in The Rendezvous Project in a group setting, but we are not leading/hosting it. Do I need to buy the full video series?

No. Only the group leader (or whoever is coordinating the event/small group) needs to purchase the video series. All other participants only need to purchase a set of The Rendezvous Project Guide. This includes two copies of the workbook, as well as licensure to watch or stream the videos provided by the group leader.

I can’t play the videos.

We use Vimeo, the leading video hosting and streaming platform to host our videos embedded into TheRendezvousProject.com. If you’re having trouble streaming using Internet Explorer or Safari, try using Firefox, Chrome, or Brave. If this still doesn’t work please check out the Vimeo help page at https://vimeo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/202594617-Watching-Videos

The video looks grainy, has an audio issue, skips, or buffers constantly.

We have tested the videos on multiple screens, sources, and connections at perfect HD with our video Host, but streaming issues and downtimes do happen. First, quit your browser and then log back in. (You must quit the browser completely, not just close down the active window.)  Second, please check your internet speed via https://www.speedtest.net/. We recommend at least 10 Mpbs download to get a good viewing experience. If you have quit and restarted your browser, and your speed test is above the threshold, please see the Vimeo Help (https://vimeo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/202594617-Watching-Videos) page for further troubleshooting.

On what devices can I stream The Rendezvous Project?

Currently, you can log in through almost any web browser on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

Can I watch The Rendezvous Project on my TV?

Yes, you can watch The Rendezvous Project on your TV a few different ways:

1. HDMI: Use an HDMI cable to directly connect your TV to the device you are playing the videos from.  Some laptops have a built in HDMI Port, or an adaptor (lighting for iPhone, USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 for other laptops and some phones or tables with USB-C connections) to plug in the HDMI.  Please see your device manufacturer for adaptor recommendations.

2. Google Chromecast: You can stream from your windows computer or android phone directly to this device which hooks into the back of your TV.  Look up Chromecast help for specifics.

3. Apple TV: If you have an Apple TV, you can share your screen from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac Laptop.  See Apple TV’s support page on how to do this.

4. Fire TV: Windows 8 and 10 can connect to a Fire TV natively.  See the user guide for your Fire TV for instructions.

The web page loads, but shows the videos are not available or blocked.

We use Vimeo, the leading video hosting and streaming platform to host our videos embedded into TheRendezvousProject.com. Because Vimeo hosts a variety of different content from numerous creators, some filters will block out all Vimeo content, even if it is not explicit/mature. (For example, Netgear Orbi has this feature built into the device itself with Disney Circle Family Filter.) First, we recommend you check your browser or device for any “family filters” that block mature or adult content. If any such filters are active, you will have to temporarily turn them off. The Rendezvous Project does not feature any explicit content; however, we suggest viewer discretion with the “Redeeming Sex” session, because of the sensitive and vulnerable nature of the topic.
